Well, the first big news of the race is that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were both competing for the Democratic candidacy. A black guy and woman. We're breaking all kinds of rules this year. ;) (Let me clarify, I'm not being racist or anything, I vote for Obama. But let's be serious... no one says African American and you know it, lol) I'm personally relieved that Hillary did not win, even if I wasn't sold on Obama at the time. I would have moved to Canada if that woman had been president. I believe that the US might be ready for a black president. Hell, they might even be ready for a woman president, but women are certainly not ready to be a US president, lol. Maybe one, somewhere... but not one of my friends, that's for sure. :P I jest, but I definitely don't think Hillary should have been president.
Like I said, Obama won that battle. So the race continues between Barack Obama and John McCain. Well, I wouldn't call it much of a race anymore. More like a slaughter, or maybe a rape. All I know is that they continue to beat a dead horse, know what I mean? McCain lost this election when they re-elected Bush four years ago. Simple as that. There is no pos
sible way that McCain could ever be elected president at this point. Even if the fact that he
should change his name to Bush Jr. were moot, he still wouldn't win against Obama. McCain is a total tool. He's an idiot. I watched a bit of one of his speeches a few minutes ago... I was appalled. I wanted to cover my ears and blind myself, better yet, I wanted to blind him. He has to know that he's lost this race. I'll give him props for recognizing the only way that he could win is by convincing everyone that Obama shouldn't win. He's recognized that and that shows that at least he has semi-intelligent advisers. But he's not going to convince people of that. Especially considering how he's trying to do it. I'll show you a couple of his most recent campaign ads. Now, obviously this guy is a total tool. Yes, those are McCain's ads against Obama... what? What exactly did I miss here? Is the object of this game to get the other guy to win? I guess I missed that memo. But I have to say, Paris Hilton did release a pretty witty comeback to McCain and I can honestly say that I think America would rather elect Paris Hilton as president than John McCain. Yeah, I said it. Well, here's Paris's video.
I thought this was absolutely brilliant. The Crypt Keeper was practically my idol growing up and the whole thing was just too funny. It was also a great popularity move for Paris Hilton. She said something smart (shocking half the world), she defended herself and dissed John McCain, and then she kept a sense of humor about the whole thing and herself. I guarantee people are going to hate her less after this. I hate her less after this, so there's your proof. :P
Next I'll discuss the two positions the candidates are taking, but I'll do that some other time. Catch ya guys later.
